N54T Oil Leak and Oil in Charge Pipe

2011 335is Stock ~63k

I'm working on walnut blasting my car and during the disassembly I've noticed some oil, hoping someone can clarify the cause of the external leak, and let me know if the charge pipe build up is normal. (Or are the two related?)

External oil residue:
1. Oil filter housing adjacent to filter cap, small build up
2. Residue on hood above oil filter housing/cold air duct
3. Residue on bottom of corrugated portion of OEM cold air duct, exterior of front pre turbo air pipe, and the exterior of the upper charge pipe.
4. Residue on bottom of front diverter valve duct
5. Small build up where the block meets the head

Internal to Charge System:
1. Oil in front diverter valve (some minor residue in aft diverter valve)
2. Oil/sludge in charge pipe at TB connection

Throttle body itself is pretty clean outside of some minor carbon build up on the blade.

Also, any tips on removing the power block clipped to the bottom of the intake manifold? Otto's "tedious" remark seems to be an understatement.
