Quick question about CIC coding

Ok so I previously retrofitted cic idrive into my car but never had the navigation feature, I decided to buy a fsc emulator to get the navigation working. I installed it but the navigation button is still faded. Do I need to add anything to the VO to get it to work from here. I previously added #0909 $609 $6VA to it when I first installed the CIC.
