Just had a suggestion of making shrouds to direct air towards the intercooler.
I have only seen them on active autowerkes race. Can anyone show a custom shroud images or log comparisons with and without the shroud?
What about the msport front bar ( have no idea on cosmetic mods only power) allowing more of the intercooler to see clear air. I seen franken turbo test and coment on his new front bar reducing the time it took for temps to recover but didnt change the performance any other way.
Is there a bumper that has a taller opening to allow for more of the intercooler to get direct air.
I have had 3 intercoolers and I'm still getting some pretty hot temps out of the ad intercooler.
I have stayed away from meth for 3 years but might need to consider it for drag racing.
Seen a recent 1/4 mile log starting at 120 and ending in the 170 while pushing 25 or so psi.
What do all you think is a good way to make the most of your intercooler being it a ebay,vrsf, wagner, atm,ad or custom.
1) front bar for max opening?
2) shroud?
3) meth and what size jets for just iat support only?
