Pre-Lci shift paddles to extended paddles

Hello guys, I have a m-sport model that came with this type of paddle shifter and at first I was fine with them, but now I'm starting to hate them.

This is what I want

My question is can I use my existing paddle modules from pre-lci and just buy extended paddles and make it work?
