Original battery longevity??

This question goes out to 2008-2009 owners specifically... How many of you still have your original battery (as I do), and what is the maximum life we can get out of it? My battery started showing all the obvious signs of dying out nearly a year ago, but since using a battery tender - ZERO issues!! Is 7-8 years possible??

I couldn't wait any longer and decided to pull the trigger. I traded in my 335i for a new M3. I'm sad to see my 335i go, she's been great to me and a joy to ride, but it was time for an upgrade. Now I have to play the waiting game for it to be built. I went for the following build:

Really bad bass sound with HIFI Proffesional

I just got my E89 with HiFi Professional DSP. I have had this system in a lot of BMWs earlier and just love the sound. Now I got this 2009 E89 and Im really disapointed. There way to much bass and some tones sounds like the bass is wrenged (dont know a better word for it in english:-)). I sounds like I have turned on the bass to the max and turned on super loudness. I have reset all settings in the car with no result. I have also turned down the bass and the low frequences in the equalizer, and it gets better but its still to much.



I have allways been a fan of the HiFi proff in BMW, but now Im really disapointed. The spound is hard and the base is out of controll. There some kind of resonanse aswell thats really anoying. Lower base tunes sounds like they are breaking the car apart..



I belive that I can hear a noice from the subs at low volume aswell. The subs appear to be out of faze.



Questions:

- Could someone mixed +/-? Perhaps a resonance can make it appear as out of faze?



- Is this the way youre cars are aswell or is there anyting wrong with my system?



- The problem is there with FM radio, CD and Iphone interface..

Why do some bikers push in front of you at a red traffic light, but then pull away like a granny when it goes green!? :confused2:

I was wondering if anyone knew the cheapest dealer in CA area to get the BMW performance Power Kit and have it installed?

Wanted: 2011 x5 Passenger side carpet mat

Its a long shot, worth a try.... looking for passenger side x5 2011 black carpet mat.



I am also willing to buy both side if I cant just find the passenger side only.

Brake grinding noise while driving

Hey folks! Can someone help me figure what may be causing a grinding/squeaking like noise coming from my rear right wheel?

The noise is heard best as i drive very slowly, windows down.

The noise is rhythmic but not constant and gets faster as I increase speed.

The noise started suddenly. No prior work nor recent damage.

The car is partially new. Any ideas?
