Nothing new from my review. As always, Alex was simply amazing to work with. Patient, even corrected some of the steps I missed, and got coding done within a day of receiving the package(mine was remote tuning). Basically just got the DCT GTS coding since other stuff was performed a few months ago by someone else. Was hoping to get TPMS shut off but Alex mentioned that the traction control communicates with the TPMS and having it off messes with that. Decided to not cheap out and just get a set of TPMS.
Onto the GTS DCT review. My M button is always on, but almost all settings are set to normal as things feel more linear and less jumpy. However, before the GTS DCT, shifting feels more sudden and jerky. Upon normal acceleration, the GTS DCT actually feels slower since it's much more smoother. However, during on-ramp accelerations, the new coding is obviously faster. The whole defaulting to D1/2 feature isn't a big deal for me since the M button is immediately pressed so it changes to S5. I guess it's nice when someone borrows the car and it sets them up for automatic, but who lets other people drive their M? ;-)
All in all, it's a good mod. Those on the fence should just do it. It's definitely worth the price, especially if you do other coding at the same time. Now I have to save up for a SC so I can tune out this damn CEL(I'm cheap and won't pay for 2 tunes :P)
