CCC Pro Nav not working after upgrade

Hi guys,

Just after a little info please.
I have upgraded my CCC Nav system from Business (small screen) to Pro (wide screen) on my E90 3 series.

After installation, everything works bar the Nav. It worked for about 5 mins then it asked me to insert dvd however the dvd is in there.

Every time i disconnect the rear plug on the back of the head unit then plug it in, it works fine for 5 mins then the same error.

I was told that I needed to code it in with my VIN then it would work. Is this info correct?
