Trunk amp for sub, remote wire.
I've read the DIY for my E92 w/ logic 7 amp/sub trunk install. But the method for the remote was to splice a random speaker output and use that for the low-voltage-trigger. Isn't there another wire that could be used that wouldn't matter if there was interference on the signal?
Or why not use the already-spliced Left or Right sub speaker output that you are also going to use for the amp input?
I just don't like the idea of adding possible interference to one of the interior speakers, seems like there is certainly a wire somewhere in the trunk that supplies a voltage when the radio is on....maybe?
Any suggestions would be great.
