Trying to get a spare key for my 2011 135i w/o CA since it only came with one key from the dealership :/
googled around a bit and it seems like a new key from the dealership is around $200.
I'm looking at the key fobs from other sources and they're cheaper but they all say that it needs to be programmed by your local locksmith/dealership. As far as i know, the cars without CA, the keys are programmed by inserting the key fob into ignition and pushed in for around 15 seconds.
Does that mean the key fobs being sold are used ones and require reprogramming? How much does a key reprogram cost?
