My M3 is in the shop for a few things and my loaner is a new F30 328i xDrive.
This 328i xDrive could be the most soulless, mundane thing I've ever driven;The wind noise and road noise is intolerable, the unsupportive sensatec seats are uncomfortable, and the plastic everything feels cheap.
At $40k+, Who would buy this thing? I've rented cars that sold for less that drive and feel nicer than this.
