18" BMW Style # 313 complete wheel package FS

I have a genuine stock OEM BMW 313 wheel package off of a members 135is. Price and photos can be found in the 1 series NY/NJ regional forum. Please help me sell these because I have an X1 and these will not fit. I'm willing to drive up to 75-100 miles to make the deal happen.

Power Folding mirrors?

I have the button on the drivers side but it doesn't do anything. I read somewhere if you have sports seats and the button then its an indicator that you have it.

In reverse, the passenger side side mirror folds down.

Checked my vin and cant see anything in terms of power folding mirrors, just: Interior mirror with automatic-dip.

-Why would the button be there if it doesn't even work? Or is it just prep installed just like the alarm prep?

my next step is to check my fuses.

Tire Recommendations for daily driver

My TPM sensor went off last week and I got the tire re-inflated and the other day the TPM sensor went off again. I think it means I need new tires.

I need a good all around tire for a daily driver. From the looks of it, everyone loves the PSS. (Pilot Super Sport?) I do not drive that aggressively so do not need the absolute best most expensive tires. I want a set that are all season, will last reasonably well and are priced not super high.

Also, what do people do without RFT nor a spare? I know there is AAA but I just feel better knowing I can get myself to a garage.

where to buy plasti dip!!

Anyone know a local place to oick it up???

Return e90 to factory ride height?

I recently purchased an 08 328xi sedan. The car has eibach lowering springs. Is their any aftermarket kit I can buy that will return car to factory ride height. I have thought of just buying factory springs but am not sure if any other parts would have to be replaced. Car still has factory shocks. As car has 87000 miles I am not apposed to just changing everything. Can any of the coil over kits work at factory ride height?

Was this lease deal good?

My F15 X5 xDrive50i Build - European OEM+

I love personalizing my cars and, in particular, doing so using lots of OEM forbidden fruit from Europe. I built something pretty unique with my outgoing F10 M5 and knew that with the F15 X5 I wanted to do something similar.

This thread will document progress with pictures, etc. A proper photoshoot is coming soon. For now, some teaser pics taken during various stages.

I was hoping to do a retrofit of the 6WB instrument cluster and bought one, but with the ECU changes on the F15 platform it is not currently possible. If/when it is, I'll add that to the list.

Enjoy!

What are the stock turbos on a 335i?

I tried searching but came up mostly with a lot of FS/WTB threads (and also a lot of threads about Rob Beck Turbos for some reason). The only info I found was that the stock turbos have td03 housings, so I know they're Mitsubishi, but beyond that I couldn't find anymore info. Does anyone know?

Also can anyone tell me what the RB turbos are (the search results got me curious)? I remember that name from my 3000GT days.

Temp gauge on cluster

Does anyone else's temperature gauge move around a little? It doesn't stay at a set place like on my other cars?

KW V1 and Macht Schnell Spacers Review (E90 xi w/ pics)

Finally got around to fixing the stance of my Pre-LCI E90. I drive a '07 328xi base model w/ cold weather package.

Just a quick background-- I have had my car for just under 2 years. I have added the performance exhaust, new rims and tires, fishcake depo v2 headlamps before I retrofitted pre-lci halogens with TRS Morimoto H1 6.0 bi-xenon HIDs w/ euro style clear sides to get rid of the ugly amber), tinted windows, windshield brow tint, and tail lights, matte black grills, pre-lci Mtech front bumper, m3 trunk spoiler, and hardwired an escort passport 8500ix to my fusebox.

And NONE of these mods have been as satisfying as getting the KW v1's installed. There's no doubt that the KW v1s are the best bang for your buck if you want to vastly improve the looks and handling of your xi.

I want to make it clear that I have never owned or driven a BMW before this car, so I never truly understood the "floaty" feeling, as others have mentioned, getting the v1's installed. I certainly do now. I know it's been said a million times, but its true and there's no other way of saying it. It should have been the first mod I did for this car.

To put an end to the "how do the v1s ride?" question. THEY ARE NOT JARRING OR HARSH AT ALL.

I live in New England. My house is in Vermont and go to college in Waltham, Massachusetts (~15 mins west of Boston). Vermont is known for its frost heaves and Massachusetts is notorious for its terrible roads and lack of care for the roads. My boy lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and every time I visit him down there I can't believe how smooth the roads are. Anyway, it's safe to say that I experience TERRIBLE roads on a daily basis, and anyone in the same area can back me up on this.

When I hit potholes my stock xi suspension would bottom out and sound like I just snapped my car in half. I would cringe every time hoping I didn't damage my car. So as you can imagines I was greatly concerned how the ride quality would be affected if I decided to get v1s.

After throwing on the v1's the car is WAY more planted to the ground and definitely stiffer. When I say stiffer I mean that you don't bounce and feel like you're in a boat when going over bumps. It also has reduced body roll around corners, but its not harsh what-so-ever. You will be very pleased with how the car rides after installing them.

For the sake of how long this post is getting I'll get to the only part you guys actually care about lol.

I run a staggered setup.

Rims- F 18x9 et 35 -12 (22) R 18x9.5 et 40 -18 (28)

Tires- F 225/40, R 255/35

I put on Mach Schnell spacers, 12mm in the front and 18mm in the rear. (NO RUBBING ISSUES SO FAR)

For the v1's, the fronts have about 5-7 threads left and the rears have 3-4 threads left.

Here are some quick phone pics until I get time to take better ones.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and Enjoy!:drink:

If you have a frame, let's see some pics!

FS: CA - 06 Titanium Silver Z4M Roadster - 24k

http://ift.tt/NHkOub

For sale is my 06 titanium silver BMW Z4M or "M Roadster." This is a very rare limited production Z4 that included a factory tuned sport suspension, M style bumpers, hood, seats, steering wheel and the 333hp motor from the E46 M3)

The car has over 7k worth of parts and preventative maintenance done in the last year! I am only selling because I have two cars and this one just sits in the garage.

Registration just paid for on 3/18/2014

It currently has 60XXX miles and holds a clean title. Car has resided in SoCal until early 2011 when I purchased the car. Car has always been garaged and dealer maintained until its warranty ran out in early 2011.

No navigation, no power or heated seats, no cruise control. The only option this car has is the 10 speaker sound system and xenon headlights.

In the last 1000 miles it has had:

Oil change done with 10w60 castrol tws

All weather floor mats

OEM BMW M Sport Pedals

Replaced rubber trims (old were cracking due to age)

RPI Air Scoop

RPI Skid Plates (protects lower bumper for scrapes)

Strong front upper and lower strut brace

LED bulbs throughout the interior

At 51,000 miles:

Differential and transmission fluid changed with OEM fluids

New spark plugs

New air filter

Valve adjustment (only one shim needed to be replaced after 49,000 miles which indicates it either had primarily freeway miles or was gently driven)

New Hankook v12 tires on 19" CSL wheels

New Stromung exhaust

New Bilstein shocks with h&r springs and a 4 wheel alignment

Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts

Painted reflector covers (they are removable)

New ZHP weighted shift knob

New Interstate battery

Replaced accessory belts and power steering belts

BavAuto clear wind deflector

iPod adapter /w ash tray mount

Car is free from any major defects and has had no accidents. This vehicle needs nothing and is ready to drive! There are minor scrapes on the bottom of the front bumper which is typical for a low sports car. Driver side cup holder is not functional.

Help! Accident..

I was parked behind the car, and a man driving a sienna hit my front bumper. My bumper was cracked, and some paint chips. I want to replace it, but does the op's insurance cover aftermarket parts? Its an m3 rep. It's 100% his fault. I already talked to my lawyer.. Thank you guys in advance

Looking for someone to flash my car

I'm looking for someone to do the BB flash on my car. I have no problem doing it, but I don't have a battery charger and being in an apartment complex garage there is no outlet anyway.

Ideally looking for someone in Stamford, but I'm willing to drive. Thanks in advance.

Awaiting a boat

Finally my car has been created and now awaits a boat at the port.

As I'm now getting impatient waiting for it does anyone now how long it generally takes to get the car into the uk?

Best Place for NGK spark plugs?

Hello guys, it's time to change my spark plugs and decided to go with the NGK laser iridium spark plugs. Where is the best place to buy these at a good price? Thanks

Pop in center cap??? what is it?

Anyone know the difference between a pop in center cap and the "normal" kind? does anyone make them for BMW? Looking for a 3" pop in center cap...

Can we get 2 new sub-forums: Project Cars and Non-BMW Project cars?

There's a "Sponsor M3 Project Cars Showcase" and it would be cool if we members had a "Member M3 Project Cars Showcase" and a "Member non-M3 Project Cars Showcase". I have a bunch of things that are going into my car build, and I'm always posting up a bit here, and a bit there in different sub-forums, depending on if what I'm doing is engine/nav/wheel related, when I'd rather just post them under one post about my car.

Additionally, we're all car guys/girls here, and I like to read about other builds for other non-BMW related cars that the members are participating in.

These are brand new wheels that have only had tires mounted on them. They have not been mounted to a car, and have never seen the street. I initially wanted these for the winter, but then opted to go with a stagger setup and a set of all-season tires.

Not included:

- TPMS

I added a couple of pictures of what my current set looks like mounted on my car for reference, but these are the 9x19 front and 10.5x19 rear.

Radar/laser jammer combo recommendation

I just want to know what set-up fellow calgarians are running for radar/laser jammer combo.

2-Escort 9500ix

3-Passport Max

4-STi Magnum

For laser:

1-Al Priority

2-Laser interceptor BMW edition

3-HP 905.

thanks ahead for the feedback!

Varrstoen ES7 fitted

So I finally got my tyres fitted on over the weekend.. bit of a pain that I wanted 255 rears and I had a set of 245's and 265's lying around.

Instead of just buying a new set of 255's I thought I'd try these out first.

Couldn't get the 245's to stretch on and got the 265's on but they're a bit big.. had to raise the car a bit because the arches were actually sitting on the tyre fs! Even after raising it, I drove off and smoke was flying up off the rears so had to raise even more :mad0260:

2 shots I found from a show yesterday..

and two I took on my phone

The shots are ok but no rear shots.. had been asked if I'd do a feature for a local group so I'll do that and hopefully get some good shots, including some rollers!

X3 - 1 week on

loving it loving it loving it!!!!

Love the comfort, much quieter than my old FL2, slowly getting used to the tech, masses of space in rear and boot, economy has really surprised me as I know manufacturers tend to be way off with their figures but I have been averaging 46mpg and even achieved 50.5mpg on a trip today so slightly up on what BMW say! :happyanim:

Everyone who has seen it or been chauffered in it has commented on how much better it is than my FL2 - will get some pics up soon!

Lost power to the Idrive controller

Im not sure where this post should go but I lost power to my idrive controller. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this happen. Any tips would be appreciated.

I was told that is has a constant power source and that it should have power when my lights are on, but I'm not getting any power to it at all. I just had the Alpine B3 transmission programing done to the car if that helps with anything. I dont think that could cause it to lose power and I haven't done anything else to the car. It is a 2011 335i Xdrive coupe.

Thanks
