Late last year a buddy and I went in together on a semi-race prepped 1989 325i track car. Schwartz Black, 200k+ miles on the stock M20B25 engine, and a little bit of rust commonly found on a midwest e30.
During the off-season we replaced the fuel tank, repaired rust on the frame rails/floor boards and made sure that everything was up to snuff. As it sits right now it's completely gutted with a Kirk bolt-in roll bar, full race suspension, IE sway bars, Spec E30 exhaust, polyurethane bushings (trans, engine, control arms, diff, subframe, etc), lightweight TR Motorsports C1's, R888's, Z3 SSK, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, Corbeau clubman race seats, 3.73 LSD, PFC-08 pads on stock rotors.
From opening day at Blackhawk Farms this year...
