Regardless of FWD or RWD? I'm curious how people will answer this. I know what's recommended based on studies looking at safety but I recently discovered a ton of misinformation out on the web. Much of it comes from people who claim to work at tire shops and dealerships and insist they're right without anything to back it up. My favorites are those who say "I've been a mechanic for years, it's this way, always!"
The number of people who insist they're right based on "common sense" compared to the entire tire industry and the DOT is rather amazing.
So what do you guys think?
