Tyre Pressure Sensors

The F30 being the first car with actual pressure sensors in the wheels was wondering if anybody knows what would happen if I fitted wheels withouth any sensors.



Thinking of reusing my E90 BBS 18" as winter tyres but they dont have any sensors. Any ideas if you get a warning on the dash or simply the vehicle information does not come up with a the pressure reading ?
