I've been lucky enough to buy an M-sport with 17's, so of course I have no oil cooler. I came across a thread where a guy built his own oil cooler setup (http://ift.tt/TGl0gz). I've sourced an oil filter assembly and housing for $200 bucks.
My roommate is a welder/fabricator and my buddy works for BMW, so between the three of us it shouldn't be too difficult of a task. I was just curious if anyone has gone this route before and had any suggestions or helpful hints?
I'm thinking of mounting the cooler behind the kidneys for better flow and prevent the need to cut out the fenders.
