Ok so I have a 2013 328xi Alpine White base line with cold weather package, comfort package, and that's pretty much it. I'm in the military stationed in Italy and they have a BMW program here at a dealership "Pentagon" were they give a special discounted rate right off the bat ( I'm not very convinced ) but that's what they swear by. I only say that because I have purchased 9 vehicles within a span of 5 years, trade up/down, and I always get a military discount and the "I'm about to walk out" discount, blah blah blah. Ok if you're still with me, I need your knowledge and experience!
I'm in the process of trading in my 328xi for a 335i MSport
First off...I'm getting anal raped on the trade in.. Don't get me started.. I owe $26,075. And they're giving me $26,500. And my bmw is super clean!!!! Long story on how they sell their bmw's sow low bla bla.
Ok here is what I'm getting and the out the door price, no tax, because I will have it registered in Italy for 2 years then when I go back to the states, many states don't require tax, that's what I'm told, but will be ready to pay in 2 years when I go back to the states.
2014 335i M Sport Alpine White 18 miles price $49,272 73 month finance .99%
Black leather interior
Paddle shifters
Msport brakes
19 rims with performance rubber
Technology package
Driver assist
Heated front seats
Comfort package
That covers it
So, my question is this. Am I getting a good deal? I test drove it, I love the dang power! I love that it's coming with all the toys, and hid's!!!!!! But honestly, I'm cheap!!!!!!!! Not only that, I'm concerned about the year and getting raped with the trade in.
Honestly guys, I have read many responses on these types of questions. I see the usual " if your happy, that's all that matters" "are you happy with the deal" remember, I'm cheap and don't have realistic expectations.........also, I'm thinking of going into the office and asking them to either raise my trade in value, or lower the cost of the vehicle...here's the kicker.....doing this while actually risking by walking on this deal. So please give me your insight. I will go in on Monday. By the way, I already put a down payment, and the vehicle has been sitting at this showroom and it has had a 1500 discount already.
