JB4+Cutout?

How's it going guys, just had a quick question for those who might have a cutout setup. I'm planning on installing a boost pressure activated cutout into my 08 335 , I want to retain my factory exhaust as is but do want the performance gaim out of a free flowing exhaust. Cutout opens at 6psi so daily driving will allow me to drive the car as quielty.

Il be merging the 2 pipes shortly after the downpipes to a 3" pipe and adding mycutout there then splitting back to 2 pipes and continuing with the factory e haust so it will dumb after the downpipes but before the secondary cats.

How well does the jb4 work with cutouts? Will map 5 be enough as itl learn and maximize it's use? I was doing some reading and people were seeing great gains. But I came across one oddball saying the standard jb4 maps wouldn't comply with the cutout and would make the car feel sluggish due to lose of torque?

If anyone has any information I would greatly aprreciate it!
