So went to BMW for service and there was a TSB out for DME update on my car (2011 e92 335 msport 6mt). Went to the dealer with a bms drop in filter and the "bb" mod on the exhaust flapper.
All service was done, picked the car up and first thing I noticed was the car (cold start) not idling high like it used to and pretty much sounding quiet as hell, weird but thought nothing of it. Drove home and the car felt slower, throttle reaction was slower and car didn't have that little burst it used to have. Odd but not sweating it.
Got to my garage and noticed that while stepping on my gas to rev, the response was slow as hell! Literally it was like I used to have a lightened flywheel in it then it was changed back to stock or something! Before I took my car in for the update It almost kind of had the lagging throttle only in reverse. Very strange. I assumed that once I put some miles on the car the DME would "learn" or adjust or something. 100+ miles later same shit.
Driving to work this morning I actually got a DSC malfunction light and brake assist malfunction light after driving hard out of a toll. Cars going back to dealer tomorrow so this issue can be addressed. Not sure if it's related but 16k miles with no issues until DME update.
Anybody have any experience with these symptoms after DME update on n55? I'm almost thinking that this CPO car may have had the PPK on it???!! Is that possible and would the dealer be able to see of that was the case??
