M3 E93 Starter

I was attempting the start my car and the car wouldnt turn over. The starter was engage for about 10-15 seconds. I wasnt paying attention...once i realize to didnt turn over.. I immediately hit the stop button,. Let cool down for about 10 seconds. Restart and turn over immedately.



I was washing my car with key in pocket. Comfort access. So the car never went to sleep for the 45-50 minutes I was washing and detailing the . Stereo was on as well.

That's probably the reason the car didnt turn over initially.





Question,

Did I damage the starter for enagaging it for 10-15 seconds?
