I'm in the process of looking around for the best trade-in for my F30. I've been to many dealers and have received good and absolutely shocking prices for my car so far.
I would like to know if you play one dealer against the other with prices or is it frowned upon?
Do you tell the dealer directly that another is offering you a certain deal and basically extort a better deal out of them?
Do you formally send one dealer's quote to another as proof?
Not sure how this works as I've usually accepted the first deal offered from the same dealership (which is usually good). The problem is that the F30 has depreciated so much that every cent counts now!
