When to expect M3/M4 LCI?

I'm not too familiar with how BMW does things, but I'm looking at future M3/M4 purchase and was wondering what year we can expect a LCI? I have a feeling when my current lease is up and I'm ready to buy it will be a 6 months or so short of LCI.
