Production Delays (updated)

Just for those that are waiting to enter productions. This is my situations.



Order is: MWM, M3, CFR, BLK19s, active, LEDs, FULL Black Leather, Exec, Bluetooth, DCT Trans, driver assist, etc. no CCB



Mine was in production scheduled 112 status 4 times. Week 39, 37, 38, 40 and now 49. Order placed in early August, status is and has been Priority 1 Sold.



From the dealer last week:



Jamie,

Here is the response I got from BMW NA on your M3.



“Hi Jeffery,



I’m fairly confident that the scheduled week 40 build will hold on this one.”



Does not sound set in stone, but that’s all we are going to get for now. It’s encouraging though.

Jamie,

Don’t know why yours was bumped. It’s nothing personal, just bad luck of the draw. I got an email response from Tom at BMW and he said that they are having an extremely hard time producing the M3 and M4’s because of all of the restrictions. Ie. Carbon fiber roofs, ceramic brakes and 19” wheels etc. maybe your car had more than one restricted part. You had 19” wheels and carbon fiber roof, don’t know if you ordered the ceramic brakes or not. It is just a bad situation.

There is nothing we can do to speed up production as a dealer. I feel bad for you.
