Need quick help with tires please...

I am about to purchase mint Style 416 wheels which are 18 x 8 ET 34.

Ideally, one would install 225/40/18's right? Can I bump it up to 245 or 45 to fill in the gap on a non-sport suspension setup (2006 325i) I promised myself not to drop this car
