Transmission fluid change at 109k,a bad idea?

I wouldn't flush your transmission at that mileage, but a simple drain/fill would be fine.

I think I did mine right around 110k, shifting was noticeably smoother after and has been great in the 25k since. You'll want to change the transmission pan/filter too (really, you only want to change the filter, but it's integral to the pan, so you gotta do it all).
