Pulling my hair out just setting up

Please for the love of God show me how to install ncsexpert on a 64 bit windows 7 system.



I have tried the version i got with cableshack. Errors reading vin on car.

I have tried this INPA-ediabas-6.4.3-full with the INPA_502_Updated update. NCSExpert wont load.



I have tried BMW Tools 2.12, inpa loads, ncsexpert doesnt.



Latest error that route is entrypoint__apitrace@8 could not be located in dll api32.dll



Tried installing inpa from one and ncs from another and updating ncs with the one that worked and inpa from the one that worked but no luck at all.



I tried running virtualPC with a 32bit windows XP image with all of the above as well. It still wont work. Either no cable communication or ncs saying it cant operate in 16 bit mode.



Is there an actual simple instruction???



For heavens sake I worked as a developer and I have been in IT for 15 years. I'm not exactly an inexperienced computer user!



Issue: Is there no simple installer option in English, that is 64 bit compatible and contains all daten files????



I just want a digital speedo on my cluster!!! :confused2
