Oil Pan Gasket

Has anyone had or heard of "oil pan gasket seepage". I noticed a little oil on the side and back of the oil pan when the CDV was removed in July. Asked dealer to look at it this week during oil change (love competitors coupons. Out the door for less than oil and filter would have cost.) Seepage was their diagnosis. No oil on inside of belly shield. I thought it might have been from when the valve cover and gasket was replaced over a year ago.:confused2
