Amigos i came across this interesting excerpt in which BMW responds to NHTSA but mind you this was all the way thru 12/2011. here's the link:

INTERESTING thought page 6 paragraph 3 i believe and i quote

"Both the BMW 335d and the X5 xDrive35d are equipped with the “M57Y” 3.5 liter engine "



I was under the impression we were a 3 liter engine NOT 3.5



Any read it ok
