Which Intake(s) Would You Recommend?

My friend has a E90 N54, and he wanted to get a new intake for his car. I did do a search, but most of the threads were pretty old, and I wanted a more updated list.



He's looking for an intake that sounds good, and can provide a decent boost in performance, and of course, not too expensive.



I currently drive a E92 N55, and might be interested in an intake as well.



Which intake(s) would you guys recommend for each car, and from which vendors?
