M1 Northbound traffic last night ?

Was travelling southbound last night around 8:30 - 9:30pm and I'm not joking I have never seen such a backlog of vehicles ... It stretched over 5-6 miles with people either switching their cars off or having a friendly chat standing on the motor way.





Anyone get caught up ? Or know what happened ?
