So today I installed a JB4 G5 on my e92 335xi (2008), this is actually the second time I've had a JB4 on the car. Previously I had no problems and loved the gains, but today was a different story. I took the car out early in the morning after the install for about an hour or so without pushing it hard and then let the car sit for about 3 hours. Took it back out after that and let the car warm up for about 20 minutes and then started pushing the car to its new limits. Around the fourth or so hard acceleration the car made a bang directly in front of me along with a whooshing sound. I immediately slowed down and then inspected the car, thinking it could possibly be the stock diverter valve but when I inspected it I didn't see anything wrong (although I suppose it could still be this). I started driving again and noticed that the whooshing sound is only heard while accelerating at a good speed, otherwise its not noticed during slow acceleration. The sound comes from directly in front of the driver and slightly to the left. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas, and thank you for taking the time to read this!
