Well I decided to push the button and order this today.
I will be in receipt of the new software and an OBD programmer to load it into the TCU in a day or 2.
Apparently it can take up to a couple of hundred miles to fully adapt and will keep improving during this period.
I am told to expect:-
1) Torque converter locking up faster :party0030:
2) faster gear changes (approx. 30%) :thumsup:
3) Faster response from paddle shift to gear change (approx. 50%) :happyanim:
