Increased Emmisions

So I had my car sitting in the garage for a about 3 weeks, I wanted to go for a drive today since we have some nice weather and when I started it I got this message:



Increased Emissions

Emissions-related malfunction. Have the system checked by your BMW center as soon as possible.



Does anyone know what this means exactly or has dealt with this problem?
