Official carbon wing mirror covers - Opinions?

I've recently picked up a Silver E92 Coupe M Sport and one mod I am tempted to try is changing the mirror caps to carbon fibre ones. Now my two questions are -

1. Do you think they'll be a nice contrast against the silver body?

2. Are the official BMW carbon wing caps worth the extra money?
