Hi Guys,
I know the idea of getting tires that are lower than the OEMs speed rating may not seem like a wise decision, but my drag racing and joy riding days are long LONG gone. I am married with a kid and I rarely hit 100 in my 2008 335i so I'm contemplating getting tires with a lower speed rating to save a few hundred bucks.
I'm thinking of replacing my tires with Continental ProContact RX SSR run flats (speed rating is over 100mph so I'm good). Anyone have opinions on these tires?
I'm sure there are many with extreme opinion of what I'm thinking about doing, so please give me a break or give it to me gently :).
